Art of War leadership training: start fewer fights
Most pages that rank for Art of War leadership training promise a way to win in business. They treat the thirteen chapters as a field manual for pressing a rival. This site does not. The founding goal is 世界和平,越来越好 — world peace, getting better. The chapters are taught here as judgments a person can write down: enter or stay out, resolve before force, write a stop date. A classroom exists so a team starts fewer unnecessary fights, not so it learns how to crush someone.
Force is expensive. A hundred victories is not the highest good. The highest good is 不战而屈人之兵: change the plan, then the relationship, so a fight never starts. Taking a state whole outranks breaking it. That inverts the usual search result. If you arrived looking for a course in commercial warfare, this is the wrong door. If a team keeps opening conflicts it cannot afford, this page is the outline. We do not add a second vocabulary for “business.” The same thirteen chapters — object, goal, resistance — are what we teach. Contact already says we will not help you beat rivals. This page says it in full.
Who this is for — and who it is not for
For
- A team with a live conflict, a costly cycle, or a decision that must be made: enter or stay out.
- An in-house classroom that would rather teach examination, resolution before force, and a stop date than a slogan about winning.
- A teacher, editor, or partner who wants notes and materials that stay on this peace reading of the text.
- A reader who already uses the chapter pages here and wants the same four steps taught in a room.
Not for
- A request to help you beat a rival, win a market, or turn sales into war.
- An RFQ written as a bid to outmaneuver a competitor.
- A buyer who wants a fake overseas office, a fake AI product, or a duration grid invented for procurement.
- Anyone looking for a services hub or a seventh item in the nav. The outline is this page. The form is Contact.
If the right-hand list is what you need, do not write. There is no private version that flips the thesis.
The curriculum is four judgments
We do not invent a catalog syllabus. Teaching follows the same four steps already on the homepage: examine, resolve before force, move then stop, review. Each step is one chapter’s job. Original text stays evidence. The room’s work is the call.
1. Examine — enter or stay out
Chapter 1 asks you to compare purpose, leadership, timing, terrain, and rules before you move. Staying out is the default unless the aim is worth the cost and the system can hold. In a classroom this becomes a written call: object, goal, resistance, then enter or stay out. If the five factors are unclear, the team does not enter. People arrive wanting a move. The room asks whether the move is worth a conflict. No is often the judgment that saves the next cycle.
2. Resolve before force
Chapter 3 places taking a state whole above breaking it. The highest good is to change the plan (伐谋) and the relationship (伐交) so force is not needed. Can this be resolved before collision? If yes, do not use force. Completeness outranks a win. A room that skips this step and goes straight to “how we press” has already left the text. The exercise is one path that changes the choice before collision, and one condition to verify.
3. Move, then stop
If you must move, Chapter 2 asks you to count the burn and write a stop date. A long campaign leaves both sides worse. Chapter 12 adds the constraint: force is used only when the trigger appears, and only with a way out. Anger is not a reason. We do not teach how to escalate. We teach the cost of one more day, the date to stop, and the fallback if the trigger never comes.
4. Review — people judge
Keep three lines: the judgment, what you verified, what would make the next cycle better. The SUN-TZU AI method page is a method for that review, not a product to buy. Tools may structure notes. People still decide: fight or not, stop or continue. We point to that page once, as method. We do not replace it with a fake product. If a team wants the review taught in a room, the four judgments above are the curriculum.
Formats: one teaching, three containers
The same four judgments are taught in three containers. There is no price grid on this page, and no invented duration. In-house teaching, a workshop, and content collaboration are not three products. They are three rooms for the same reading of the text.
In-house teaching puts the thirteen chapters into a shared language inside a team: write object, goal, and resistance together, and leave a judgment — not a playbook for pressing people. A workshop is a shorter room around one live conflict: one chapter, one judgment, one next action. Content collaboration is notes, classroom structure, and teaching materials that stay on this reading. We will not rewrite the chapters into a sales-as-war script. Which container fits is a Contact conversation. Send the live conflict.
How this page sits on the site
The thirteen chapters remain the center. Start with The Art of War if you need the map. This page is only the teaching outline. The method page stays a method page. Contact stays the form — name, email, message (object, goal, resistance). We do not add a services hub or a seventh nav item. Home, About, The Art of War, SUN-TZU AI, Blog, Contact: that is the site. Teaching is a door from the homepage card into this outline, then into the form. If you are reading alone, open a chapter and write the three lines. Training exists for teams that want that loop taught together.
What we will not do
This list is on the page in plain language. It is not a footer disclaimer.
- We will not help you beat rivals. Teaching, training, and content — not crushing someone.
- We will not take an RFQ written as a bid to outmaneuver a competitor.
- We will not teach sales as war.
- We will not invent a fake United States, Singapore, or Malaysia address. Contact lists the address that exists.
- We will not sell a fake AI product. SUN-TZU AI is a method: people judge, tools only structure the question.
If that list is a problem, do not send the form. What remains is teaching, in-house sessions, workshops, and content work that stay on the peace reading.
Start with Contact
If the four judgments fit, send Contact. Use the form as it is: name, email (required), and a message that states object, goal, and resistance. Say whether you want in-house teaching, a workshop, or content collaboration. We reply within two business days. You can also write info@sun-tzu.ai. World peace, getting better, is a job a team can do: open one fewer wasteful conflict.
